Resort Review

Encompass, 'n Extra
The prize of Melia Benoa's all-inclusive offers is the Gold Package that comes with accommodation in an Executive Suite and a whole array of complimentary benefits and entitlements.

All-inclusive resorts are holiday resorts that include all meals, soft drinks, and most alcoholic drinks in the published rate. Many also offer a selection of various activities that are included in the price as well. Throughout the world, most all-inclusive resorts are found in the tropical holiday regions and have become increasingly popular over the past decade.

Not many hotels in Bali boast pride as an all-inclusive resort. One among the few, also considered among the most distinguished hosts in its area, is the Melia Benoa, located in the southern end of the water sport activity filled Tanjung Benoa cape in Nusa Dua.

An intimate and all inclusive seaside retreat, the Melia Benoa is the first of the myriad of beach resorts that you will find when entering Nusa Dua's north gate into Jalan Pratama, making it conveniently the closest hotel on the peninsular seaside.

The first in the main choices of packages offered at the resort is the Blue Package, where guests stay in a well furnished oversized 50 square meter Deluxe Room, and have access to all buffet and a-la-carte meals in the resort's 3 restaurants, snacks at the poolside, soft drinks, mineral water, juices, cocktails, beer, wines, spirits such as gin, vodka, rum and whisky (locally produced), and non-alcoholic drinks after 1 am for the convenience of in-house guests. The package also entitles guests to in-house entertainment that the Melia is well known for, namely Balinese cultural shows and Broadway cabarets.

For recreational activities on the sandy strip of the Tanjung beach, Blue Package guests are free to use the sailing boats, windsurfers, canoes, snorkels, squash courts and the gym as well as to participate in in-house sport activities such as table tennis and dart games.

But the prize of Melia Benoa's all-inclusive packages is the Gold Package: accommodation in an Executive Suite for only US$ 145 per person per night (subject to tax and service charge). It includes all benefits available in the Deluxe Blue Package plus a mini bar filled with beer, juice and soft drinks, free room service, imported standard drinks, laundry service, reserved beach chairs, and late checkout (which is a very convenient feature... frequent cases being Japanese tourists have to wait for midnight flight departures), and free usage of the business kiosk and its internet access.

The Executive Suites boast a wide flat screen television that can be swiveled around in whichever direction you wish, and considering the very spacious room, yes you can watch international broadcasts and favorite programs either in bed, on the sofa, or even from your bathtub.

Opt for the Gold Package and the minute you arrive for check-in, and after being presented with a wristband that is your privilege token throughout your stay at the resort, a refreshing welcome drink, cold towel and fruit basket as well as complimentary one-hour massage at Melia Benoa Spa awaits.

Check out the week's entertainment schedule, conveniently posted in the lounge area, and look for the cabaret times at the Paseban Ballroom. This extravaganza is a showcase of sights and sounds through the intricate and energetic movements from the E! Dancers. They will take you on a colorful and jovial evening journey.

Melia Benoa has fabulous restaurants. A sumptuous buffet breakfast awaits you in the morning at the El Patio All Day Dining, while lunch and dinner buffets are presented in its outlets. Snacks and an extensive drink list are available all day long at the pool area, available at no extra cost for Gold Package ‘wrist band bearers'.
