It was at Villa Air Bali's glamorous Black & Light first anniversary celebration party in mid January that the resort invited guests to share in their celebration with a night of fireworks, dance performances, fashion shows, magic and delectable food treats... as well as complimentary stay and spa treatment experience vouchers.
Since its inception in September 2005, Villa Air Bali Boutique Resort & Spa had unveiled its wonders with a concept that is borne in its name (not to be confused with the English “air”), which means ‘water' in Indonesian– the essential source of life.

Heavenly Bliss Beauty in Bali is a wonderful experience that will smoothen, soften and exfoliate the skin. Acupressure sensation massages are then continued by an application of skin texture and complexion improving herbal ingredients. The pampering is concluded with a floral petal bath. It has become general knowledge that the Japanese are a quite discerning spa-going market, and if you have their expertise in running a spa then you are in for quality service.
So balance your body, mind, and soul at Spa Air, Villa Air Bali's spa facility, which consists of 5 private treatment rooms and 2 Spa Villas that provide soothing selections of treatments to promote relaxation and wellbeing.
The treatments include Ayurvedic Massage, Foot Massage with Reflexology, Acupressure Sensation, Heavenly Bliss Beauty in Bali, Jamu Boreh Therapy, and Dead Sea Mud Treatment. The Ayurveda Massage treatment is a two-hour natural healing experience, an age-old system that is believed to be the oldest healing therapy in existence. Ayurveda has long been known to be effective in the prevention of illnesses and maintenance of health; which leads to longevity and natural healing. This massage balances and restores vital energy flow and deeply relaxes the nervous system.
It begins with the pouring of warm herbal massage oil over the body to improve blood circulation and relieve tension. Then the therapist uses the herbal oil, rhythmically and lightly kneading the body with movements toward lymphatic drainage as means for detoxification. Warm herbal oil is then rhythmically dripped onto the forehead, an adjunctive for mental relaxation and clarity. Herbal oil ingredients incorporated in the treatment include grape seed oil, cinnamon, ginger, frangipani, vetiver, lemongrass and sandalwood.
The Foot Massage with Reflexology is an hour of applying gentle pressure on all pressure points of the feet to bring about a state of deep relaxation, while stimulating the body's own healing processes. It begins with a ritual footbath in a flower basin, often a symbolic welcoming ritual in any spa before beginning any foot or body treatment. Using mineral rock salt and herbal spices, Villa Air Bali has concocted its own therapeutic healing footbath. More than 50 types of strokes are applied to each foot to ensure adequate and thorough stimulation of the pressure points. Incorporated are herbal cold creams and massage oils of grape seed, turmeric, nutmeg, ginger, clove, lemon grass and basil fennels.
For ladies, especially those on their honeymoon, the Heavenly Bliss Beauty in Bali is a two-hour treatment that is inspired by traditional wedding preparations; given to a women each day during the week preceding their wedding day. But any lady can obtain pampering benefits from this treatment.
This wonderful experience will smoothen, soften and exfoliate the skin. Acupressure sensation massages are then continued by an application of Temugiring extract (Curcuma beynena), which helps soften and improve skin texture and complexion. The pampering continues with a floral petal bath.
The main ingredients in this treatment are the traditional Lulur scrub, made up of a blend of rice powder, galangal, fenugreek seed, sandalwood and turmeric; the massage oil is mostly made up of the fragrant flowers of Bali, namely grape seed, cananga, champac, roses and frangipani.
Singling out the Acupressure Sensation, this 90-minute treatment is an ancient oriental healing massage characterized by the application of the thumb, palm, and elbows upon the body's pressure points to relieve stress and tension. Therapists focus on body meridians to stimulate energy flow.
For facial and body treatments, there is the Dead Sea Mud Treatment package that includes separate choices of an hour facial treatment and a two-hour body treatment.
The mineral properties of Dead Sea Mud are known to promote the healing of skin diseases and the nourishing and hydration of skin.
