Posh and Beautiful, but Quick The advanced technology in this modern era can make the impossible become the possible. A vast range of ‘refreshers’ is now available everywhere including in Bali. Compared to Thailand, Bali is not yet popular as a destination for beauty makeover, but the number of beauty centers including clinics and spas as well as hospitals is increasing and some of them have the highest standard, even compared to neighboring countries. Going for a vacation to Bali while having these quick beauty treatments is considered ideal because the body can heal perfectly and nobody will know that you just got a microdermabrasion or Botox injection. All they think is that you’re completely relaxed after getting back from Bali. The hottest treatments on the market today vary from the non-surgical category to treatments that involve needles. Botox and dermal fillers are the most popular, and are done by people of all ages and genders. They also will have non-surgical procedures including Botox, Dermal Fillers, Fruit Acid Peel, Aptos Stitch, and Human Growth Hormone (HGH). At the moment, BIMC has one dermatologist, two cosmetic doctors and one plastic surgeon with four machines including microdermabrasion, laser, hair removal and body contouring to support the service. The body-contouring machine uses a combination of ultrasound and radio frequency, which safety has been proven and received a patent, to provide a therapeutic treatment option that is virtually painless to bring firmer skin and reduce cellulite. The machine slowly heats the skin and the subcutaneous tissue along the movement on the body and destroys the fat in the cells, which later will be removed from the body naturally. And the hair removal technology gradually heats the hair follicles under the skin until they can no longer produce new hair. The best thing is that those machines provide pain free treatment, but of course to get the maximum result you have to do it regularly. According to Robyn Brand, a cosmetic consultant at BIMC, Botox is the number one choice, and liposuction is another popular treatment as well as face and neck lifting. She told us that there are patients of all ages, not specifically from certain group of ages, genders or even nationalities. “It’s all about beauty, it’s not necessarily age related. You can tailor-make your face these days and don’t have to have your unwanted shape forever. If you’re born with thin lips, it doesn’t mean that you have to stick with it forever while you can have the lips like that,” she said while pointing to a picture of sexy red lips on the wall in the clinic.
